Are
you ready to separate yourself from the competition? Through its partners, the Open Door Institute
offers
its members access to four separate training & certification programs designed to help you get ahead and gain knowledge you can put to use. All courses are
developed by industry experts and seasoned adult learning professionals, and offered through Real Estate Educate and partner Default School.
The best part? Unlike many REO and short sale education programs being marketed today, the certification programs offered through the Open Door Institute and its training partners are already recognized by leading corporate real estate sellers -- meaning you're one step closer to growing your business.
REO Default
Certified
Professional (RDCPro™) The
Default School RDCPro™ designation is already an REO industry standard for any real estate broker or agent.
By
completing the required courses online,
you can achieve this
certification and move one step closer to working with a number of leading corporate REO sellers. Earning the certification adds your name and expertise to the private Default School
database
that clients access on a daily basis to find qualified real estate professionals.
REO
Best Practices is an in-depth overview
of how to manage a real estate owned (REO) property. This interactive
online
course gives agents and brokers all the information they need to begin a
career
in the REO industry. In addition, seasoned REO agents and brokers
benefit from
the comprehensive nature of this course.
Advanced
Evaluations is an intensive online course
focused on the details of completing accurate, quality evaluation
reports, also
known as broker price opinions (BPOs). This multi-media course
challenges even
the most experienced REO agent with its in-depth case studies,
interactive
lessons, and comprehensive quizzes.
Loss
Mitigation Certified
Professional (LMCPro) The LMCPro certification is a blend of online and live
training.
These courses walk you through loss mitigation methods and the
short-sale
process. Upon achieving this certification, you will be able to guide
your
clients through these processes with ease.
Loss Mitigation/Short
Sales is an online course that presents an overview of the different options lenders may offer
borrowers to
prevent foreclosure. It also describes how you can assist the borrower
with the
short-sale process.
Loss
Mitigation Live Training offers an even closer look at the loss
mitigation process. This training provides you the opportunity to learn
more
about short sales and interact with industry experts.
Greenovation
Certified
Professional (Green Pro) The
Greenovation Institute Green Pro certification entails completion of
online
and live training. By completing these courses, not only will you be
certified,
you'll learn how to get properties certified "green.” This is
particularly
helpful when managing real estate owned (REO) properties. By certifying a
home
as green, it de-emphasizes the foreclosure label, in addition to
enticing
buyers with its green elements.
Greenovation
Institute Residential 1.0, an online course, explains the
various measures you
can
select from to have an existing residential home certified as "green." You'll learn which measures you
can implement to qualify the home for one of three
levels of green certification. Each measure can help improve energy
efficiency,
conserve natural resources or improve the indoor air quality of the
home.
Greenovation
Institute Live Training allows you to interact with a green expert, learning what really works in the field and what does not. You'll also learn how to save lenders/servicers money by tapping into tax rebates that can make "going green" truly affordable.
Renovation
Lending
Certified Professional (RLCPro)
Renovation loans
are an underused loan option in
the mortgage industry. This is because many key players do not
understand the benefits of these types of loans. The RLCPro
certification helps you understand the benefits of renovation loans so
you can
better serve your clients and set yourself apart from the competition.
Renovation
Loan Education helps real estate
professionals, asset managers and loan officers understand the benefits,
features and process of renovation loans. It outlines each renovation
loan
program in detail, including the FHA 203(k) Standard and Streamline
renovation
loan programs. By the end of the course, you will understand why it is
in your
best interest to add renovation loans to your suite of mortgage loan
options! (This course will be
available
mid April 2010.)
Renovation
Loan Live
Training goes
into more detail about these loans. Our industry expert offers three
separate
sessions tailored to Real Estate Agents, Asset Managers and Loan
Officers. Explore
our
membership options.
