Carolyn Andrews

Ms. Andrews is an RDCPro™ certified professional with more than 25 years experience in real estate, spanning both California and Colorado. For the past 10 years, she has been working full-time in the REO industry, and has been recognized by the Denver Board of Realtors for selling the most homes in Denver in 2007 (and was #2 for 2008).

She is an ELITE REO network founding member, and a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame & Chairman’s Club. She is President of the British American Business Council of the Rocky Mountains, and a board member of the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC).


Ken Blevins

Mr. Blevins brings 18 years of experience in all facets of default management including collections, foreclosure/bankruptcy, loss mitigation and real estate disposition. Prior to founding PMH Financial in June 2005, Mr. Blevins spent five years as the President and CEO of Matrix Asset Management.

Prior to joining Matrix Bancorp, Mr. Blevins served the mortgage banking community in various positions with organizations the like of ContiMortgage Corporation, Commonwealth Federal, and Prudential Asset Recovery. Mr. Blevins has directed the resolution and liquidation of over ten billion in residential real estate.


Brad Hoelting

Mr. Hoelting has more than 16 years of valuation and mortgage-related experience including appraisal, loan servicing and loan origination; at PMH, he is responsible for managing and developing valuation products, including Broker Price Opinions, Appraisals, Automated Valuation Models and Reconciliations.

Prior to joining PMH in 2009, Mr. Hoelting most recently served as a Risk Manager with GMAC in charge of valuing assets for Loan Servicing, REO, Principal and Investment Activities, Correspondent Lending, Warehouse Lending and Loan Origination. In this capacity, his group processed an average of 15,000 valuations per month. Mr. Hoelting was instrumental in designing a system to make GMAC loan origination appraisals independent of the mortgage originator and compliant with HVCC. Mr. Hoelting’s technical expertise and analytical skills have helped him to continue to develop risk models to identify properties with valuation concerns.


Steve A. Johnson

Mr. Johnson has served various banks and financial institutions as one of the nation’s leading real estate disposition specialists over the last two decades, co-founding Precision Asset Management in 1998 along with business partner Rosan Johnson.

Over the past 12 years Precision has been in operations, Mr. Johnson has positioned himself as an expert in property evaluations, eviction procedures, title curative work, escrows, redemption periods, financing issues (FHA and Conventional), listing agent selection process, personal property eviction procedures, environmental issues, property preservation procedures, property management and various other real estate disposition matters. Thousands of licensed real estate agents throughout the United States of America work under Steve’s guidance in order to successfully sell REO assets.


Stuart Kessler, Esq.

Mr. Kessler is a graduate of Purdue University and John Marshall Law School, and has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 1976. In 1983, he opened his own practice as a civil litigation trial attorney; 20 years later, he decided to change the direction of his law practice and began to represent sellers at REO closings. He is an agent for First American Title, Chicago Title, Ticor Title and Stewart Title. As such, his firm examines title searches and performs title curative work.

Mr. Kessler's office represents REO clients in every county in the state of Illinois. In 2009, the office represented sellers at approximately 1,400 REO closings. The office also represents parties in short sales and relocation contracts. The firm client and outsourcers list includes but is not limited to Premiere Asset Services, RELS, First American Asset Closing Services, FAREO, Integrated Asset Services, Goodman Dean, LPS, Meridian Asset Services, New Vista, Litton Loan Servicing, PMH, Keystone Asset Services, Atlantic Pacific REO, M.D. Webb, AssetLink, and ServiceLink.


Derrick Logan

Mr. Logan is the driving force behind REO Allegiance business development activities, marketing strategies, advertising and the cultivation of corporate business relations. With a distinguished career in sales and business development, Derrick brings the experience of working with companies such as Prudential, Adobe Systems, Lotus and IBM.

Derrick joined Galil Moving and Storage in 1993. As Director of Marketing, he continued his outstanding record of successful business development. Derrick was instrumental in crafting the strategy that led to the expansion of Galil and the creation of REO Allegiance in 1997, of which he is a founding member. Keeping pace with the REO industry, he is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, The Women Council of NAR, The National Association of Real Estate Brokers, and The NJ Association of Minority Real Estate Professionals.


Tony Pistilli

For over 20 years, Mr. Pistilli has been involved in the real estate appraising and lending industries. His responsibilities at US Bank include ensuring the compliance of valuation products, policies and procedures with federal regulatory agencies. Other areas of responsibilities include developing and communicating business line policies and procedures, and coordinating quality assurance efforts across all lending units within the bank.

Prior to joining US Bank, Tony was President of Park Appraisal Service, and has worked at several mortgage companies as well as the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Tony serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is vice-chair of the Minnesota Real Estate Appraiser Advisory Board and a member of the American Banking Association’s Appraisal Sub-committee. He was also appointed in 2003 by Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty to serve on the Metropolitan Council, which is a regional planning agency for the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

Tony attended the University of Minnesota, majoring in political science and currently holds a Certified Residential Appraiser’s license.


Fara Salamat

Specializing in residential income and commercial properties, Ms. Salamat has represented banks, financial institutions and high profile investors for more than 25 years. In addition to REO, she has managed complex transactions involving unfinished developments and other distressed properties.

Ms. Salamet has been named "one of Coldwell Banker’s top 2 percent in the nation,” and was recognized by Coldwell Banker as the top commercial agent for the Western region. She currently has her own semi-weekly radio program on 670 AM in Southern California, where she gives mainstream advice on market trends, real estate investment opportunities and real estate economic forecasting.


Lorenz Schwarz

Mr. Schwarz has been active in the commercial and residential mortgage servicing industry for over 20 years. In March 2007, he joined Phoenix Asset Management, an REO management firm headquartered in Denver.

Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Schwarz was with Select Portfolio Servicing as Director of REO, where he oversaw the management of the REO portfolio as well as the valuation unit. He also held the position of AVP REO at Wilshire Credit Corp, and Director of Real Estate at JE Robert Co. In addition to REO management, Mr. Schwarz has also been heavily involved in other aspects of mortgage servicing including loss mitigation, foreclosure, valuation, and claims management. He has served on various panels for USFN, NRBA, and REOMAC, as well as other industry organizations.


Landon Smith

Mr. Smith leads strategic operations and sales for Stewart REO Asset Solutions’ service centers throughout the United States. With a strong career emphasis in the default services segment, he has nearly 20 years experience in the title/settlement services and lender relations industry.  

Most recently, Mr. Smith handled business development and strategic partnerships for Land America Lawyers Title and served as assistant vice president for LandAmerica’s southeast lender services. Prior to his LandAmerica service, he worked in business development and management for several real estate-title and default management companies. He attended Georgia Perimeter College for undergraduate studies and is also a licensed title agent.

Kristen Songrath

Kristen Songrath is the senior vice president of the Real Estate Owned Title and Closing Services division for First American National Default Title Services (NDTS). She oversees the operation of the REO title services and resolution group, manufactured housing title services group, and the national REO asset closing services group, as well as client relations.

After joining First American in 2001, Songrath held a variety of management positions, including vendor management. Her initiative and strong supervisory skills soon led to a promotion in operations management for foreclosure and REO. Before joining First American, Songrath acquired 10 years of extensive management experience at Cosmar Corporation, where she served in customer service management.

Songrath’s outstanding leadership has resulted in several honors throughout her career at First American, including Supervisor of the Year in 2002 and Manager of the Year in 2005.


John K. Stovall

Mr. Stovall is Vice President for Business Development of EcoBroker International, Inc., a company dedicated to training real estate professionals about the energy and environmental aspects of real estate transactions.

He has been an active member of the Denver Board of Realtors® for over 35 years. John has an extensive background in real estate education, and is the author of numerous published books and training courses. Mr. Stovall is also a past president of the international Real Estate Educators Association. He has spoken about the green real estate consumer trend at national and state-level REALTOR® conferences including the National Association of Homebuilders 2009 Green Building Conference, the 2009 Appraisal Summit, and national and regional brokerage and franchise company meetings over the past several years.


Douglas Yeaman

Mr. Yeaman has trained more than 140,000 professionals in his career; as a management consultant, he is known for his ability to create people-effective systems and train and consult within organizations, enabling them to become high-performance work groups, significantly increasing profitability. He has worked for 30 years extensively within the real estate industry, and his work includes most of the best-run real estate companies in the U.S.

His track record includes founding a soft drink company at the age of 23, which he subsequently sold to a Fortune 500 company. He spent several years as a business consultant in Europe and the United Kingdom, and upon his return to the United States in the early 1970's, he organized a large management consulting company in the San Francisco Bay area. The firm specialized in organizational development, management consulting and training. His education is in physics and math with extensive post-graduate work in management and human resource development.


Todd Wilson

Mr. Wilson is the Executive Vice President of the Special Financing Services Division of Prospect Mortgage. Established in 2006, Prospect Mortgage is one of the nation’s largest retail mortgage lenders with over 200 Branches and 1,200 Loan Officers in 40 states as well as a 50 state licensed national call center. Prospect is backed by Sterling Partners, a multibillion-dollar private equity fund based in Chicago and Baltimore. Prospect’s Special Financing Services Division is focused on the development and deployment of financing programs to partner with servicers and asset owners in their loss mitigation efforts.

Mr. Wilson has completed over 20 successful company turnarounds in his career and took the position with Prospect Mortgage to participate in the resolution of the US housing crisis, which he views as the largest turnaround opportunity of his career to-date. Prior to Prospect Mortgage, Mr. Wilson was the Operations Partner for Sterling Partners, where he led the successful turnaround of Prospect Mortgage between 2008 and 2009. Prior to Sterling Partners, Mr. Wilson held a broad range of executive management positions ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies where he ran various finance, operations, and sales organizations.
